Dear diary... 

August has been a pretty good month for me.

We started out the month creating more exclusive pieces for a shop called Hex, that I have my items selling in. My pieces are doing really well in there!

Then on the 14th, we had our first collection drop! I was excited but also kinda nervous. As a person, I'm pretty hard on myself and my business is one of those things that I just have to get perfect every time however for this first collection I had said to myself prior "I'm not expecting to sell anything, I'm just going to enjoy creating these piece and enjoy posting on my instagram" The night of my collection dropping, I had 5 new people sign up to my email list and I went to bed very happy. In the morning I woke up and I had sold something!!! I couldn't believe it.

As a small business owner, you put so much time into pretty much every aspect, whether that be creating, social media, websites, emails, stockists, so when you sell something after pouring so much into it, it is a really rewarding feeling. So thank you so much ☺️

After that, my partner surprised me with a trip to the Lancaster butterfly house. I love that place.

What are my goals for September? I would love to drop another collection this month and potentially sell more pieces 👀
