I chose this name for this piece because I wanted to encapsulate societal views on tarantulas in a moment. At first glance a hideous creature judged for its appearance, but placed carefully amongst tulips, greenery, fauna and a solitary rose and the whole perception is changed. Beauty can be found in the most unlikely of places, but is exclusively only in the eyes of those who are willing to search for it.
